Section 27-1034 - Livestock Auction Market Veterinarian(A) Who Shall Provide the Services of the Livestock Auction Market Veterinarian--The Clemson University Livestock-Poultry Health Division shall furnish the services of a veterinarian to attend the Livestock Auction Market on the day of regularly scheduled sales. For this purpose the State Veterinarian may approve an accredited Deputy State Veterinarian to assist in the inspection, examination and treatment of livestock in order to control and prevent the spread of contagious and infectious diseases.(B) Who Shall Provide Help for the Veterinarian--The operator of a Livestock Auction Market shall work out a satisfactory agreement between him and the seller and/or buyer to furnish the Veterinarian sufficient help in the examination treatment, or testing of livestock.
