Section 280-RICR-30-20-1.23 - MiscellaneousA. Intervention 1. Any person claiming a right to intervene or an interest of such a nature that intervention is necessary or appropriate to the administration of the statute under which the proceeding is brought may seek to intervene in any proceeding. Intervention may be initiated by filing a motion to intervene with the Board.B. Ex Parte Consultations 1. No person who is a participant in any hearing before the Board or any other individual acting on the person's behalf, shall attempt to influence a Board member on a matter pending before the Board and a Board member shall not request or entertain any such communications. The prohibitions contained above do not apply to those communications which relate solely to general matters of procedure and scheduling of the hearing.C. Consolidation 1. The Board may, in its discretion, consolidate or combine several matters for purposes of hearing or other proceedings, when it finds that sufficient common issues of fact or law or both are involved.D. Statutes 1. If any statute has different requirements than those contained within this Regulation, the statute shall be controlling.E. Public Documents1.
