Section 280-RICR-20-70-28.5 - DefinitionsA. "Automobile" means, for the purposes of Trade-in deductions and Trade-in Allowances, a private passenger vehicle not used for hire, and does not refer to any other type of motor vehicle.B. "Truck" means every motor vehicle designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property. The Administrator of the Division of Motor Vehicles shall determine, in case of doubt, if a motor vehicle is subject to registration as a truck.C. "Motor vehicle" means every vehicle intended primarily for use and operation on the public highways which is self-propelled, not including farm tractors and other machines and tools used in the production, harvesting, and care of farm products. 280 R.I.
