Section 250-RICR-150-10-6.58 - Guidance DocumentsA. Issuance - The Department is authorized to issue guidance documents that support the intent and purpose of these Rules. Such guidance documents shall not serve to alter the intent of the Rules herein. The documents may serve as guidance on interpreting the evolving science and technologies that are used to support the Rules or to explain in further detail the administrative procedures for complying with these Rules.B. Review - Department prepared guidance documents shall be subject to review and comment through either formal public notice, the Technical Review Committee (§ 6.41(G)(2) of this Part), or through other Department convened stakeholder groups. Once a guidance document is issued by the Department, it shall be subject to, at minimum, an annual review, at which time all comments received within the past year shall be considered.250 R.I.
