For the purpose of this Part, control of access to high radiation areas is defined by 10 C.F.R. § 20.1601.B. The registrant is not required to control entrance or access to rooms or other areas containing sources of radiation capable of producing a high radiation area as described in §1.11.1(A) of this Part if the registrant has met all the specific requirements for access and control specified in other applicable Parts of this Subchapter.1.11.2Control of Access to Very High Radiation AreasA. For the purpose of this Part, control of access to very high radiation areas is defined by 10 C.F.R. § 20.1602.B. The registrant is not required to control entrance or access to rooms or other areas containing sources of radiation capable of producing a very high radiation area as described in §1.11.2(A) of this Part if the registrant has met all the specific requirements for access and control specified in other applicable Parts of this Subchapter.216 R.I.
