Section 216-RICR-40-10-1.1 - AuthorityA. These Regulations are promulgated pursuant to the authority conferred under R.I. Gen. Laws §§ 23-17-10, 23-17.5-32, and 23-17.5-33 and are established for the purpose of establishing minimum requirements for the licensure of nursing facilities in Rhode Island, including provisions for resident-directed homes, minimum hours of direct nursing care and reimbursement of any monies that have been prepaid on behalf of a deceased patient to the nursing facility.216 R.I.
