Section 216-RICR-40-05-34.3 - License RequirementA. No individual shall practice as a radiologic technologist (radiographer), nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapist, or represent themselves as such, unless they are licensed under the Act and this Part. The provisions of § 34.3 of this Part do not apply to those individuals stated in R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-68.1-4.B. This Part does not prohibit an individual enrolled in an approved school of radiologic technology, under the direct supervision of a radiologist or a licensed radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapist from performing those duties essential for completion of a student's clinical service.216 R.I.
