Section 216-RICR-40-05-29.12 - Sanctions and PenaltiesA. Any person, firm, corporation or association violating any of the provisions of the Act or these regulations commits a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00), or imprisoned for a period not to exceed three (3) months, or both the fine and imprisonment.B. Every person who engages in the practice of electrolysis in Rhode Island without being licensed by the Department is subject to the provisions of R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-32-2.C. The Department shall have power to revoke or suspend any license issued in accordance with these regulations for gross unprofessional misconduct as defined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-32-11.216 R.I. Code R. 216-RICR-40-05-29.12
