Section 216-RICR-40-05-12.3 - License RequirementsA. Pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-40.1-6, no person shall practice occupational therapy or hold himself or herself out as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant or as being able to practice as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant or as being able to practice occupational therapy or to render occupational therapy services in this state unless he or she is licensed under the provisions of the Act and this Part. 1. The Act shall not be construed as preventing or restricting the practice, services or activities stated in R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-40.1-7.2.
