Section 143.13 - Manner of payment(a) Dealers shall pay producers either by check, cash, wire transfer, money order or any other Board-approved payment device. Dealers electing to pay producers by cash shall, in all cases, obtain a dated, signed receipt from each producer. Receipts shall be made a part of the permanent records of the dealer.(b) The giving of a promissory note shall not constitute payment within the meaning of this section.The provisions of this § 143.13 amended January 11, 2013, effective 1/12/2013, 43 Pa.B. 216.The provisions of this § 143.13 amended under section 307 of the Milk Marketing Law (31 P.
