Section 115.232 - Isolation requirements(a) For a seed field to be eligible for production of Foundation or Certified seed it shall be isolated from other strains of the same species which flower at the same time, in accordance with the following requirements: Class | Fields Less Than Five Acres (feet) | Fields More Than Five Acres (feet) |

(b) Flatpea-Isolation of 660 feet from other varieties of Lathyrus Sylvestrus or other species of Lathyrus or Vicia. 1320 feet for production of foundation seed.(c) Isolation from fields and fence rows inside of the minimum distances may be accomplished by mowing these fields and fence rows before flowering starts in the fields entered for certification.The provisions of this § 115.232 amended September 26, 1975, effective 9/27/1975, 5 Pa.B. 2522.
