Section 39.20 - Water ice(a)Description. Water ices are prepared from the same ingredients and in the same manner prescribed in § 39.18 (relating to sherbet) for sherbets, except that the mix need not be pasteurized. Water ice shall comply with § 39.18 including the requirements for label statement of optional ingredients except that no milk or milk derived ingredient and no egg ingredient, other than egg white, is used.(b)Nomenclature. The name of the food is ice, the blank being filled in, in the manner as specified in § 39.18(f)(1)(i) and (ii) as appropriate.The provisions of this § 39.20 adopted June 29, 1984, effective 6/30/1984, 14 Pa.B. 2242.
