Section 5.32 - Cleaning and disinfecting(a) Areas of the market premises used for loading, unloading and housing animals which will be returned to farms shall be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a pressure power sprayer after each sale.(b) Areas housing animals for slaughter that are not quarantined are to be clean and free of trash.(c) The disinfectant used shall be included on the list of permitted disinfectants issued by the Department or by USDA-APHIS.(d) Areas in subsection (a) used by animals between sale dates, shall be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before entrance of animals for the next sale.The provisions of this § 5.32 amended August 6, 1976, effective 8/7/1976, 6 Pa.B. 1837; amended March 11, 1977, effective 3/12/1977, 7 Pa.B. 698; amended August 16, 1991, effective 8/17/1991, 21 Pa.B. 3688.The provisions of this § 5.32 amended under section 40 of the act of July 22, 1913 (P.
