Section 1.234 - Custom prepared products(a) Carcasses and parts of carcasses which are custom prepared in accordance with § 1.11(2) (relating to general) shall be marked at the time of preparation with the phrase "Not for Sale" in letters at least three-eighths inch in height, except that such products need not be so marked if in immediate containers properly labeled in accordance with § 1.277 (relating to labeling custom prepared products).(b) Ink used for marking such products shall comply with the requirements of § 1.224 (relating to branding ink).
