Section 1.87 - Livestock affected with certain metabolic, toxic, nervous or circulatory disturbances; infectious or parasitic diseases; and others(a) Livestock showing, on antemortem inspection, symptoms of anaplasmosis, ketosis, leptospirosis, listeriosis, parturient paresis, pseudorabies, rabies, scrapie, tetanus, grass tetany, transport tetany, strangles, purpura hemorrhagica, azoturia, infectious equine encephalomyelitis, toxic encephalomyelitis (forage poisoning), dourine, acute influenza, generalized osteoporosis, glanders (farcy), acute inflammatory lameness or extensive fistula shall be identified as "Pa. Condemned" and disposed of accordingly.(b) Livestock which have reacted to a test for leptospirosis or anaplasmosis, but which show no symptoms of the disease, shall be identified as "Pa. Suspects" and disposed of as provided in § 1.150 (relating to other diseases and conditions).(c) Livestock previously condemned for listeriosis, if released for slaughter shall be identified as a "Pa. Suspect" in accordance with § 1.96 (relating to disposition of condemned livestock).
