Section 212.411 - Flaggers(a)Helmet. In addition to the requirements of the MUTCD, flaggers shall wear a protective helmet.(b)Mechanical flaggers. Mechanical flaggers or mannequins, which look and act somewhat like flaggers, may not be used to alert, slow or stop traffic.
