(a)Normal renewal. During the 60-day period preceding the expiration of a driver's license, the licensee may apply for renewal on a form, provided by the Department, accompanied by the appropriate fee.(b)Early renewal. An applicant who is unable or unavailable to apply for and receive a photographic driver's license under subsection (a), may apply for early renewal during the 6-month period prior to the expiration of his driver's license.The provisions of this § 73.4a adopted July 22, 1988, effective 7/23/1988, 18 Pa.B. 3214.
