Section 35.1 - Purpose and authority(a) The purpose of this chapter is to set forth the responsibilities and composition of Area Agency Advisory Councils. In addition, this chapter sets forth the corresponding responsibilities of Area Agencies and of the Department.(b) This chapter is issued pursuant to the authority contained in § 2208-A of the act (71 P. S. § 581-8), and in conformity with the Older Americans Act of 1965 and Federal regulations issued pursuant to the Federal Act.
