Section 30.1 - Purpose and authority(a) The purpose of this chapter is to set forth the procedures to be followed by the Department in designating and redesignating organizations or agencies as Area Agencies on Aging.(b) This chapter is issued pursuant to the authority contained in the act and in conformity with the Older Americans Act of 1965 and Federal regulations issued pursuant to that Act.
