(a) The purpose of this subpart is to govern the operation of sports wagering in this Commonwealth. The purpose of this chapter is to establish definitions for this subpart and create the process by which a slot machine licensee can seek approval to conduct sports wagering. The act and the Board's regulations promulgated thereunder shall otherwise apply when not in conflict with this subpart.(b) Any sports wagering certificate holder or sports wagering operator who offers interactive or mobile sports wagering as a form of interactive gaming shall also comply with all applicable provisions in Subpart L (relating to interactive gaming) as it pertains to the development, implementation, and use of interactive or mobile sports wagering system operations, specifically Chapters 809a-815a.
