Section 6400.274 - Additional requirements(a) There shall be at least one staff member available while individuals are at the home. This staff person need not be physically present at the home.(b) An individual shall be instructed upon initial admission and reinstructed annually in the use of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and fire alarms and to notify the local fire department as soon as possible after a fire is discovered.The provisions of this § 6400.274 adopted August 9, 1991, effective 11/8/1991, 21 Pa.B. 3595.
