Section 3490.161 - Responsibilities of law enforcement officials(a) Law enforcement officials, in cooperation with the district attorney, shall accept the report of suspected student abuse for investigation and determine what criminal charges, if any, will be filed against the school employe.(b) Law enforcement officials shall notify the county agency in the county where the alleged student abuse occurred when law enforcement officials have reasonable cause to suspect, on the basis of their initial review, that there is evidence of suspected student abuse.
