Section 2610.1 - Service goalsThe service goals of this chapter are:
(1) To provide supportive, home-like, community-based living arrangements for individuals who cannot live independently in the community.(2) To encourage and assist individuals in developing and maintaining maximum initiative and self-determination, in a home-like setting.(3) To prevent unnecessary institutionalization, and help individuals in institutions to return to their own community and, ultimately, if possible, to their own homes.
