Section 2050.25 - Conditions of need for home delivered meals serviceAdditional reasons for needing home delivered meals service, called conditions of need, are specified as eligibility requirements. To meet the conditions of need requirement for home delivered meals service, a person must need the service for all of the following reasons:
(1) The person is homebound.(2) The person is permanently or temporarily incapacitated so that the person is unable to prepare meals.(3) There is no family member or other responsible person available and willing, on an on-going or temporary basis, to prepare meals for the person.(4) There is no alternative means of providing nutritious meals to the person in the home during the time for which the service is requested.
