Section 1189.91 - Per diem rates for county nursing facilities(a) For the rate year 2006-2007, the per diem rate paid to a county nursing facility for a rate year will be the facility's April 1, 2006, case-mix per diem rate as calculated under Chapter 1187, Subchapter G (relating to rate setting) multiplied by a budget adjustment factor determined in accordance with subsection (d).(b) For each rate year beginning on or after July 1, 2007, the per diem rate paid to a county nursing facility for a rate year will be the facility's prior rate year per diem rate multiplied by a budget adjustment factor determined in accordance with subsection (d).(c) The Department, at its discretion, may revise the per diem rates for county nursing facilities by calculating updated case-mix per diem rates in accordance with Chapter 1187, Subchapter G or under an alternative method specified in the Commonwealth's approved State Plan.(d) The budget adjustment factor for the rate year will be determined in accordance with the formula in the Commonwealth's approved State Plan.
