Section 140.102 - Verification of date of birth for qualified children(a) Documentation verifying the birth date of the qualified child is required. Benefits may be authorized if the stated birth date appears to be consistent and reasonable. The applicant is required to provide verification of the birth date within 30 days after date of application.(b) Documentation of birth date is not required if previously verified and properly noted in the case record, unless a discrepancy exists.
