Section 5.203 - Hearing in rate proceedings(a) Hearing dates in rate proceedings will be fixed by the presiding officer.(b) The presiding officer will be guided by the requirement of section 315 of the act (relating to burden of proof) that rate cases are to be given preference over all other proceedings, and are to be decided as speedily as possible.(c) The presiding officer may continue a scheduled hearing upon his own motion or upon the request of a party for good cause shown. Mere convenience or other engagements of counsel will not ordinarily constitute grounds for continuance.(d) Subsections (a)-(c) supersede 1 Pa.
