Section 25.183 - Institutional medical care facility committee; committee determination of standard policies and procedures(a) In those medical care facilities providing services in which the practice of physician assistants involves the acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures, there shall be a committee whose function is to establish standard policies and procedures in each area of practice, in writing, pertaining to the scope and circumstances of the practice of physician assistants in the medical management of the patient.(b) The committee shall serve as a policymaking body and as an advisory and interpretative body to the various staff of medical care facility. The committee shall include representation from the medical staff, the nursing staff, the administration, and the physician assistant staff.The provisions of this §25.183 adopted April 23, 1982, effective 4/24/1982, 12 Pa.B. 1332.The provisions of this §25.183 issued under section 506 of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P.
