Section 45.21 - General requirements(a) Public auction sales shall be conducted at the discretion of the Chief of the Division with the approval of the Department.(b) Auction sales shall normally be conducted for large volumes of surplus property, but may be used for small lots of high value items.(c) Care shall be taken to insure that, insofar as possible, administrative costs do not exceed the gross dollar return for the sale.(d) The Chief of the Division shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of public auction sales.
