Section 3.21 - Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to assign, in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Services Act of 1978 ( P.L. 1332) emergency management responsibilities to Commonwealth departments and agencies for the mitigation of, preparedness for, response to and recovery from natural and man-made emergencies in the Commonwealth.
