Section 171.97 - Applicability of laws and rules(a) Except as provided in this chapter, the arbitration panel is bound by the common and statutory law of the Commonwealth, Pa.R.C.P. and the Pennsylvania rules of evidence.(b) Subsection (a) supersedes 1 Pa. Code § 35.161 (relating to form and admissibility of evidence).
