Section 21.15 - Exemption for active full-time police officers(a) An applicant who is employed as a full-time police officer, as defined in § 21.1 (relating to definitions), shall be granted an exemption from the application fee.(b) An applicant who was employed as a full-time police officer, as defined in § 21.1, before June 19, 1974, and who has continuously maintained full-time police officer employment since that date, shall be granted an exemption from the following application requirements:(2) Psychological testing.(c) An applicant who is employed as a full-time police officer, as defined in § 21.1, and who, either as a prerequisite to his police employment, or as a requirement for continued police employment, successfully completed a physical or psychological examination or both shall be granted an exemption from the physical or psychological requirements or both of the act, as the case may be.(d) The granting of an exemption is conditioned upon the applicant providing documentary proof of eligibility by completing and forwarding a police officer exemption application which is available, upon request, at a State Police station, except a Turnpike or Interstate station.
