Section 403.47 - Public utility connections(a) A building code official may authorize the temporary connection of a building or system under construction to a utility source of energy, fuel or power.(b) Connection to a public electric or gas utility for the completed construction may not occur unless the permit holder provides written proof to the utility company that the building or structure passed inspections under this chapter.
