Section 89.93 - Termination of policy(a) Master policies, riders and certificates shall contain a clear explanation as to continuance of that coverage after termination of the policy. In the case of maternity benefits, the policy shall clearly define the circumstances under which the coverage ceases and whether the insurer intends to include a pregnancy coverage for 9 months after the policy has expired or whether the coverage ceases with the expiration of the remainder of the policy.(b) A group accident and health policy may not contain a provision for automatic termination of the coverage of an individual upon the happening of a loss, except a loss which has exhausted all possible benefits under the policy.
