Section 39a.12 - Powers of the Commissioner(a) The Commissioner may disqualify or deny, suspend or revoke the approval of a sponsor, instructor, course or program of courses if the sponsor, instructor, course or program of courses is not in compliance with this chapter.(b) If the Commissioner determines that a student has knowingly falsified an education report, has misrepresented any fact, information or material submitted to the Commissioner under the education requirements, or has knowingly submitted a false education report, the Commissioner may suspend or revoke the individual's license and impose appropriate civil penalties under section 691-A of the act (40 P. S. § 310.91), regarding enforcement by the Department.(c) The Commissioner may audit, monitor and review courses with or without notice to the sponsor.
