Section 30.2 - Applicability and exemptions(a) Except as otherwise provided, this chapter applies to all blood banks operating in this Commonwealth.(b) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to blood banks operated by the Federal government, nor to any blood bank operated purely for research and teaching purposes, provided blood or blood products from such research or teaching are not injected into humans.
