Section 27.6 - Disciplinary consequences for violating reporting responsibilities(a) Failure of a clinical laboratory to comply with the reporting provisions of this chapter may result in restrictions being placed upon or revocation of the laboratory's permit to operate as a clinical laboratory, as provided for in the Clinical Laboratory Act (35 P. S. §§ 2151-2165) unless failure to report is due to circumstances beyond the control of the clinical laboratory.(b) Failure of a Department licensed health care facility to comply with the reporting provisions of this chapter may result in restrictions being placed upon or revocation of the health care facility's license, as provided for in the Health Care Facilities Act (35 P. S. §§ 448.101-448.904b).(c) Failure of a health care practitioner to comply with the reporting provisions of this chapter may result in referral of that matter to the appropriate licensure board for disciplinary action.(d) Failure of a child care group setting to comply with the reporting provisions of this chapter may result in referral of that matter to the appropriate licensing agency for appropriate action.The provisions of this § 27.6 adopted January 25, 2002, effective 1/26/2002, 32 Pa.B. 491.
