Section 302.1101 - General provisions(a) This subchapter applies to a professional engineer registered under the Engineer, Land Surveyor and Geologist Registration Law (63 P. S. §§ 148-158.2) who has been successfully examined in civil, environmental or sanitary engineering and is a certified operator, or an applicant for operator certification.(b) A professional engineer applying for certification action shall meet the same requirements as provided for by the act, this chapter, and any other Federal or State law or rules and regulations promulgated thereto applicable to the operation of water and wastewater systems except for those provided for in this subchapter.
