Section 279.215 - Operations and equipment(a) Loading, unloading, storage, compaction and related activities shall be conducted in an enclosed building, unless otherwise approved by the Department in the permit.(b) The operator shall maintain on the site equipment necessary for operation of the facility under the permit. The equipment shall be maintained in an operable condition.(c) If a breakdown of the operator's equipment occurs, the operator shall utilize standby equipment as necessary to comply with the act, the environmental protection acts, this subchapter and its permit conditions.(d) Equipment shall be operated and maintained to prevent solid waste from being unintentionally removed from the storage area.(e) Equipment shall be cleaned at frequencies specified in the permit based on scheduled or emergency maintenance periods.The provisions of this §279.215 amended December 22, 2000, effective 12/23/2000, 30 Pa.B. 6685.
