Section 271.3 - Environmental protection(a) The Department may, in writing, request information from a permit applicant or operator not specifically identified in this article that the Department deems necessary to implement the purpose and provisions of the act, the environmental protection acts and the regulations promulgated thereunder, including a provision of this article.(b) The Department may, in issuing a permit under this article, impose terms and conditions the Department deems necessary to implement the provisions and purposes of the act, the environmental protection acts and the regulations promulgated thereunder, including this article.The provisions of this § 271.3 adopted April 8, 1988, effective 4/9/1988, 18 Pa.B. 1681; amended December 22, 2000, effective 12/23/2000, 30 Pa.B. 6685.
