Section 264a.173 - Management of containersIn addition to the requirements incorporated by reference:
(1) For indoor storage of reactive or ignitable hazardous waste, the container height, width and depth of a group of containers shall provide a configuration and aisle spacing which insures safe management and access for purposes of inspection, containment and remedial action with emergency vehicles. The configuration shall be specified in the permit application.(2) For outdoor storage of reactive or ignitable hazardous waste, the container height, width and depth of a group of containers shall provide a configuration and aisle spacing which insures safe management and access for purposes of inspection, containment and remedial action with emergency vehicles. The configuration shall be specified in the permit application.(3) For indoor or outdoor storage of nonreactive or nonignitable hazardous waste, the container height, width and depth of a group of containers shall provide a configuration and aisle spacing which insures safe management and access for purposes of inspection, containment and remedial action with emergency vehicles.
