Section 250.3 - Management of contaminated media(a) Contaminated media removed for reuse, treatment or disposal shall be managed in accordance with the Solid Waste Management Act (35 P. S. §§ 6018.101-6018.1003), The Clean Streams Law (35 P. S. §§ 691.1-691.1001), the act of July 13, 1988 (P. L. 525, No. 93) (35 P. S. §§ 6019.1-6019.6), known as the Infectious and Chemotherapeutic Waste Law, the Air Pollution Control Act (35 P. S. §§ 4001-4015) and the regulations thereunder.(b) The Department may waive procedural and operating requirements for onsite remediation activities based on a written demonstration of any of the criteria in section 902(b) of the act (35 P. S. § 6026.902).
