Section 299.114 - Equipment(a) A person or municipality that stores residual waste shall maintain at the storage facility equipment necessary for the storage of residual waste in accordance with this subchapter. The equipment shall be maintained in an operable condition.(b) Equipment shall be operated and maintained to prevent solid waste from being unintentionally conveyed out of the storage area.(c) Equipment used to handle putrescible solid waste with which operations personnel are in direct contact shall be cleaned at the end of each working day or every 24 hours. Other equipment shall be cleaned based on scheduled or emergency maintenance periods. This section cited in 25 Pa. Code § 299.101 (relating to scope).
