Section 297.211 - Signs and markers(a) A person or municipality that operates a facility subject to this subchapter shall identify the operation for the duration of residual waste processing operations by posting and maintaining a sign which is clearly visible and can be easily seen and read at the junction of each access road and public road unless otherwise approved by the Department. The sign shall be constructed of a durable, weather-resistant material. The sign shall show the name, business address and telephone number of the person or municipality operating the facility, the operating hours of the facility and the number of the current permit authorizing operations at the facility.(b) Permit area markers and the permanent physical markers for the grid coordinate system shall be: (1) Posted and maintained for the duration of the operation.(2) Clearly visible, readable and uniform throughout the operation.(3) Permanently fixed and made of a durable material.(c) The perimeter of the site shall be clearly marked before the beginning of operations.The provisions of this § 297.211 amended January 12, 2001, effective 1/13/2001, 31 Pa.B. 235.
