Section 289.281 - Mineral resources(a) The operator shall isolate coal seams, coal outcrops and coal refuse from combustible waste deposits in a manner that prevents the combustion of the waste and that prevents damage to the liner system.(b) Mine openings within the site shall be sealed in a manner approved by the Department.(c) The operator shall implement a plan for controlling potential for damage from subsidence that was submitted and approved under § 289.127 (relating to mineral deposits information).The provisions of this § 289.281 amended January 12, 2001, effective 1/13/2001, 31 Pa.B. 235.
