(a) An action for protection of victims of sexual violence or intimidation may be brought in a county where: (1) the plaintiff resides, either temporarily or permanently;(2) the plaintiff is employed;(3) the defendant may be served; or(4) the sexual violence or intimidation occurred.(b) An action for indirect criminal contempt may be filed in, and heard by, the court in the county where the order was issued or the violation occurred.
