Section 121.2 - CitizenshipTo be eligible for a Federal Family Education Loan, a student or parent borrower shall be, on or before the date of filing the loan guaranty application, one of the following:
(1) A citizen or National of the United States.(2) A permanent resident alien of the United States, a temporary resident who intends to become a United States citizen or resident, or a refugee in the United States for other than a temporary purpose.
