Section 101.173 - Age of vehicles(a) A vehicle used for practical driver training may not be more than 5 years old or have more than 50,000 miles, whichever occurs later.(b) The date appearing on the face of the original certificate of title shall be used as the date the vehicle was placed in service. Five years from that date will determine the permissible period of operation.
