Section 101.171 - Insurance coverage for vehicles(a) Each school shall provide and maintain insurance on all vehicles used in practical driver training and file a current, valid certificate of insurance for each vehicle with the Department.(b) The minimum required insurance coverage on each vehicle is: $50,000-$100,000, public liability; $5,000, property damage; and $5,000, medical payment.(c) A certificate of insurance shall set forth the year, make and serial number of the vehicle covered, the expiration date of the coverage, and the amounts of medical payment, property damage and public liability coverage carried under that certificate.(d) A licensee shall immediately notify the Department when any of the required insurance is cancelled.
