Section 73.137 - Permitted alternatives(a) A school may establish its own refund policy or adopt the refund policy of a national accrediting agency if the terms of the policy are more advantageous to the student than the terms of the policies described in this chapter.(b) If the number of lessons or weeks in a program is such that adherence to this refund policy is unworkable or would yield results inconsistent with the refund policies in this chapter, a school shall petition the Board to approve an alternative policy which shall be approved prior to implementation and shall follow the intent of the policies outlined in this chapter as closely as possible.
